Your Minister has removed the one video that IRTR pissed and moaned about like a bunch of whining little emo clowns. Antisemitic opponents of a sarcastic critique of the militaristic abuse of the Marsellaise by imperialists everywhere take heart! Obstructionists who place idealistic purity before practical realities have won, this round. Editing this one is impossible at present.
That video was made well before IRTR had any policy about the use of its URL and with only one intention to get people to read IRTR. This will hopefully be the last time Your Minister has to use a four letter word in connection with a fraternal organization.
Your Minister shall continue to pump out the videos all the more so since this tactical incompetence of a fraternal organization give her an opportunity to make her point: if you don't like the art make your own.
The IRTR video had 840 page views and will not be included in future google page counts.
Why did IRTR make a stink about this video and act like a bunch of whining emo kids? Your Minister leaves that question for the MIM to sort out.
IRTR also claims that some other video somehow is against MIM's line. Bullshit. Total fucking bullshit.
IRTR also says this art "isn't maoist". More Bullshit. Has IRTR defined Maoist Art? No. Great. Idealism. This requires a definition of Maoist Art. As your Minister is Art Minister of the Maoist Internationalist Movement (to her astonishment) until the CC says otherwise: Maoist Art is Art made by Maoists. Yes this is a broad defintion. Art has always taken past themes. We can see pre-revolutionary art forms taken up by Chinese Artists of the revolutionary era and reworked to present a revolutionary message -- even the normally reactionary art form of calligraphy was put into service of the revolution as was ballet. Ballet could be criticized incidentally as sexist and destructive of the dancers feet. Your Minister happens to love ballet. Strong dancing women with guns get her going. How much more obvious must that be as an example of eroticization of power to destroy power itself I do not know: There is a French comedy centered around that. Your Minister has footage. Your Minister is biding her time on that one.
If Maoist Art is art made by Maoists and if Maoists are unafraid of using old forms to present new content then IRTR's claim that the Art Ministry isn't making art is hogwash. The IRTR has not presented any alternative definition of art and Your Minister sees no reason her definition is less than adequate or any need to speculate as to other possible definitions of Maoist Art.
The Nancy Sinatra KMFDM video seems a success. Day one 5 hits. Day 2 25. Let's hope people who love country music take a look at that one. Johnny Cash may get a Maoist Makeover next too.
