Given the current security situation - one comrade was assassinated in an unnamed Third World country - there is no communication going in or coming out from the Art Ministry. The Imperialists have one more blood crime on their hands. Critics of the Art Ministry are invited to draw inspiration from our fallen comrade and make art. Critics of the Art Minister are also asked, for now, not to post comments/critiques because they exposes you needlessly. If you don't like the art then make art of your own. When the security situation is cleared up the Art Minister will be held accountable for everything she has or hasn't done.

The Art Minister regrets that she is unable to engage in a direct public debate. It is not the security of the Art Minister who is hidden behind proxies and/or wireless. Essentialism in Art:
A comrade wrote a really good review with the sort of S.C. that a certain fraternal organization demands of the Art Minister. That reviewer asks whether there is an "inherent" male/female bio/social polarity. We are materialists. We know that culture shapes us and that patriarchy tries to con us all the time. There are of course material biological facts about reproduction at least before test tube babies. But if we say there is a male essence, sharp, defined and finite, and a female essence, diffused and all encompassing why not just go one step further and say all men are inherently rapists -- after all, sex is rape in imperialism. The problem with the essentialism view is it denies the ability of changes in material forces of production to alter social relations. The reviewer accurately identified the bourgeois - feudal - agrarian - primitive communism view on biology and essence. But even with the bourgeoisie we already see this bio linkage breaking down.
But just as the reviewer could be conned by the patriarchy so could the art minister. Maybe it is all 100% biological and we are entirely deluded about our ability to alter the human species by changing forces and relations of production. In that case we should simply walk over to catholicism - or the fascists.
Can the essentialist view play itself out within communism in artistic production? That is the open challenge to the reviewer who listens "over and over" to some music that is technically good. There is already a video for the music in question. So the Art Minister won't be making visuals for that. Visuals aren't cheating. Regarding cheating / fidelity: Liars suck. MIM has openly clearly stated that the best practice for bourgeois liberals is to openly negotiate their infidelity and not to use it as a surprise attack.
Security:
Too bad we have to have security because the Art Minister would like a date. Oh well. Sublimate. Getting past mushy headed thinking Mousnonya / The Art Ministry is NOT the Security Minister / Ministry!
