Are you fucking kidding me? You're MIM's art minister and you're spouting this bullshit? Do you know anything about the history of the African diaspora in Amerika? Justify to me how free jazz is a form of "co-optation and exploitation." Most free jazz musicians were involved in the black liberation movement: a lot of people think albert ayler was killed because of his involvement with it. The whole concept of the music is revolutionary in a political sense. Ornette Coleman's improvisational form, known as "harmelodic," was, in his own words, designed to "banish the caste system from music." That whole musical movement was an effort to build a purely black, genuinely revolutionary music by removing European influences and removing all barriers to free and honest communication between musicians.
And are you trying to tell me that all the shitty white pop-rock you're putting in your videos is more revolutionary than this! What an imbecile! No wonder everyone writes you people off! Get off the fucking internet and read a real book!

Revolutionary content can be put in any form. I didn't say anything bad about blues and we see lots of lumpen ideas in blues. But I don't see anything but bourgeois cooptation of jas. Even dixieland is bourgies. If I had revolutionary jas I might make a video of that I do videos of hip hop when it's revolutionary i.e. you can find music of all colors in my spectrum.
Jas is cooptation because duh, it gets played for whitey in whitey nightclubs. It has NO revolutionary message.
Show me ONE jas group that is revolutionary. ONE song that is revolutionary. All i hear is empty empty and all i see is rich white pigs pretending to be oh so cool.
