Gay Rights and Peace

MIM has a tiger by the tail with the question of gay rights and fascism. Any progressives opposing MIM ought to notice Ernst Roehm, the leader of Hitler's S.A. (the forerunner of and eliminated by the S.S.) was gay and openly so – that was fully in line with Prussian militarism thanks to the gay militarist King Frederick the Great, Hitler's hero. Roehm was purged, and then asked to kill himself (he did). MIM hits a nerve and likely knows it and points out that gay rights can break the back of the republicans. Historical experience shows gay rights and women’s rights were used by irl Nazis to seize state power as part of the formula of nationalist socialism. The difference between fascism 1.0 and fascism 2.0 is that fascism 1.0 was much more progressive on women’s issues. Why the fascists think that remix will fly better is an interesting question. Gloria Steinem is the last gasp of fascism 1.0’s womyn’s rights agenda. Sarah Palin is fascism 2.0 ;) No rhetoric or substance, just persynality.

By the way: Mousnonya had nothing to do with that recent art exhibit at Brattle square but was happy to point it out to see what developed. One could see the Armenian artistic influence in the whole double-think “obey” campaign which well mixes various iconographies. Your Minister noted the Avakian rag posted on that the day before the election and surprise surprise the obey art display came down the very day of or after the election. Detournement should ensue and artists are encouraged to go right ahead and deface alter and abuse Afakian artistic imagery. MIM is red and even if Avakian has some expertise artistically big deal he ain't red. Hitler too had an awesome art department – and where did all those wonderful futurist artists Like Leni Riefenstahl lead Germans? To graves. Same thing will be true with Avakian’s artists.

Why a large concentration of Armenians are in Boston is irrelevant to the question of what policies lead to fascism and what ones don’t. Avakian may be fantasizing, like Trotsky, of riding U.S. panzers into Moscow and then convincing the tankers to turn sides. The result is sort of obvious - the mobilizers of fascism would die from it just like Roehm did. Guevara, the Red Army Faction (RAF Baader-Mainhof), the weather underground, all sow that sporadic random focoist violence leads only to dead revolutionaries. Roehm proves that MIM is right about Trotsky: the fantasy of leading fascists to revolution was and is deadly stupid.

MIM correctly points out that national socialism WAS socialism. Social welfare is used by Nazis to mobilize their base of foot soldiers whether uniformed or heheh uninformed. The very well fed German workers of 1943 were so well fed thanks to the brutal exploitation of the countries the fascists occupied. The same is true of those ameriklan so-called workers. The eat moar and moar while their third world slaves die and die. Some of them kill back.

MIM already a year ago offered Avakian some sort of figurehead role for his little C.ult O.f P.ersynality. Look bonehead, just because you have a dinky law firm and a seat at the imperialist table in the new administration doesn’t mean shit globally speaking. Ditch the trotskyite pipe-dream.

What else is there to say beyond that? MIM was correct about the use of its logo which not only didn’t repel serious revolutionaries, it attracted the right kind of revolutionaries, people with no advantage in patriarchy. Ernst Roehm shows us why a double mars symbol would not have been appropriate. Your Minister can only repeat that Fascism 2.0 ditched racism in favor of an alliance not only with sectors of workers but also sectors of non white unKKKle toms. Does anyone really expect Obama to stop the slaughter of Moslems? Why?

MIM correcty points out that the sexual culture of the Third World is ridiculed like the Third World culture generally. Further, Islam is not anywhere near homophobic as the war mongers like to present. No, gay people do not have equal rights under Islam. California just proved that gay people do not have equal rights under Imperialism either. So why does imperialism think it can say shit to the people it wants to kill for oil? There are correct ways to struggle (the MIM way) and incorrect ways, the Ernst Roehm-Obama-Avakian way. If the choice is gay rights and women’s rights whether in Nazi Germany, Cali or Iran in trade for supporting more wars on the Third World the answer is NO. We would rather be second class citizens than murderers. We don’t have to be second class citizens and should hold out for equal rights and not take the bait like mice in a trap.

Temporary setbacks in perquisites of imperialism for gay people in the empire are a bad thing. War for oil is a worse thing. Until Obama ends the wars for oil and bases MIM won’t quit bitching.
